Eze-Core articulated arms have now made the job of highway core sampling a safer, faster and more cost effective profession.

One of the most common vertical down drilling uses for portable core drill stands is highway test sampling. Previous methods for core sampling have required crews of 2 or more men lifting heavy coring equipment and drilling anchors — a time consuming operation often leading to premature potholes, highway failure, and common back injuries to the work force.

Roll and Core has the solution for you — we have introduced our range of hitch mounted Eze Core articulated arms to the paving and traffic safety industry. Our one-man, articulated Core drill stand and arm is designed to fit a standard 2" truck hitch and hydraulic core drill. The Eze Core articulated arm uses hydraulic down pressure to secure the coring mechanics to the road using the weight of the vehicle. Core sampling can be completed safely and quickly with minimal traffic lane closure. In addition, any 5–8 Gal Hydraulic power pack or PTO/hydraulic power source will provide power to drill up to 14" holes.

We offer a range of diamond core drills, trailers, and water tanks for our Eze Core Arms. Water tanks range from 19 gal (pressurized) to 200 gal (pump driven) for core flushing and construction site dust suppression applications.
